Menu scan is unavailable

Confirm Camera access is enabled in iPhone Settings for live scanning. You can also select a menu photo or paste menu text. Oyster fact lookups require an internet connection.

An oyster origin is incorrect

When several oysters share a name, choose the origin that matches the restaurant menu. You can open the selected facts and edit the region or farm before saving.

A map pin is missing

Add a specific bay, harbor, state, province, farm, or venue to the oyster entry. The map uses those fields and does not use your current location.

Delete an oyster or all data

Use the trash button in the Journal to delete one tasting. In Settings, Delete All Data removes the local journal, photos, profile, and preferences from the device.
